Water Baptism
Baptism is the way we celebrate and publicly proclaim our salvation in Jesus. It's a picture of Christ’s burial and resurrection. Our entrance into the water during baptism identifies us with Christ’s death on the cross and His burial in the tomb. As we come up from the waters it is a beautiful picture of our new life, our rebirth by the power of the Holy Spirit. We want to celebrate with you! Sign up for our next baptism below.
Next Steps
At Roots, we believe we are saved by grace, and that God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities to serve His family.
When we come together and use those gifts to serve one another, the whole body grows and becomes stronger in love. Serving isn’t simply something we do—it’s one of the ways God allows us to make a difference in the lives of others.
And there is something special about serving with gladness. When we use what God has given us to bless others, we experience the joy and purpose that comes from being part of something bigger than ourselves.
We call that Making a Difference.
The first step toward joining our volunteer team, The Dream Team, is going through Next Steps.
Next Steps is a three-week experience designed to help you discover more about Roots, understand your unique gifts, and find the areas where you can make the greatest difference.
You don't have to know exactly where you fit. That's what Next Steps is for.
